- 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts , chopped
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish and set aside.
Melt the butter.
In your mixer’s bowl, cream brown sugar and eggs until smooth and creamy.
Add melted butter to the brown sugar mixture; mix just until combined.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Using a wooden spoon, mix the flour mixture into the brown sugar mixture; mix just until combined. .
Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Pour mixture into previously prepared baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and completely cool before cutting.
